The MedCLIVAR community will continue the tradition and distinguished young scientists will be honored with the "MedCLIVAR Young Scientist Award" during the Conference.
If you want to nominate a candidate, please send an email to rgarcia at fis.ucm.es and piero.lionello at unisalento.it (subject “MedCLIVAR 2024 YS Awards”) including:
- Nomination letter with motivation for the award
- List of publications
- Abstracted CV
- Description of main contributions to the activities of MEDCLIVAR
Eligibility criteria are:
- The physical attendance at the MedCLIVAR 2024 Conference
- To be under 40 years old at the call deadline
- Maximum 8 years after the completion of the PhD at the call deadline
Eligibility periods can be extended in case of parental leaves, which have to be clearly specified in the nomination letter and properly documented.
The Conference chairpersons and the MedCLIVAR Steeering Group will examine the candidacies and select the awards.
Self nominations are NOT accepted.
